Have You Seen My Brother?

Oh, well hello there, I'm Kazue the youngest child of General Zheng, a high ranking officer in the Fire Nation army. I'm also the only firebender out of his two children. So....That makes me the succesor to our family's long line of generals, all because I'm a fire bender. But my brother, Kazuo, is such a good tactician! He's smart and brave and amazing and I don't care if he can't firebend he would be an amazing general! However...once I started showing signs of bending a few years ago my father has refused to allow my brother even try, father says having a nonbender represent our family would be a great dishonor. So now father wants me to start training, to start learning all the things that Kazuo has already mastered...but I'm not cut out for the army, I've always been weak, I get sick too often, I can't breath right sometimes...but none of that matters to father because I'm a bender, so that means I have to be strong.
...And that's why Kazuo ran away, he doesn't want to be in a family that doesn't value him just because he can't bend! I know he went to Republic City--I just know it! So after a lot of work, bribing mesengers to bring me fake letters, I've convinced my parents to let me go to Republic city where they think I'm going to be treated by a water bending healer for my lungs. Really, I'm looking for my brother, I know he joined the equalist movement, he wants to change the world so that no one is looked over because they can't bend. So I know where I have to go....and....if the rumors are true, if the leader of the equalists can take away bending...I'm going to see if he'll take away mine.
